What raw materials do you use to make your cosmetics?

All the main surfactants are chosen in the highest cosmetic quality, so that the starting materials for their production are of plant origin. The overall composition is chosen as the main surfactant, foaming, with good washing ability and to it softening surfactants, especially amphoteric (these are usually omitted for common products due to price). At this point, it is necessary to highlight the very high-quality and gentle surfactant combinations in the recipes “Baby” for children under three years and “Intimate hygiene”. Further refinement and improvement of the dermatological friendliness of the products is achieved by various additives, which are mostly plant extracts and vegetable oils. These are always chosen in the highest quality and either without preservatives or at least without the use of parabens with preservatives used in the food industry.

What ingredients do you add to your cosmetic products?

There are many different plant extracts and additives for cosmetics. Bohemia Gifts products have carefully selected additives so that, for example, plant extracts guarantee sufficient quality of raw materials (dried herbs suffer greatly from fungi, which then form very dangerous toxins), quality of extractants and the resulting purity of extracts. was the maximum. The other additives are also chosen so that their effects suitably complement the basic surfactant mixture. A large number of recipes are supplemented with various oils that have excellent eudermic (good on the skin) properties. How and where do you make your cosmetics?

According to the legislation, cosmetic production in general must take place in the regime of good manufacturing practice, which is strictly controlled by the relevant state authorities, documented, including regulations on disinfection, storage of raw materials, etc. We produce cosmetics in our plant in Stráž pod Ralskem.

How is your cosmetics developing?

During development, considerable attention is paid to testing and adjusting the strength of the effect, but so that the product meets the most demanding criteria for dermatological properties. The customer receives carefully optimized mixtures of anionic, amphoteric, nonionic and, in the case of hair balms, cationic surfactants with various softening ingredients, additives and other active ingredients, which have maximum synergistic effect, guarantee perfect washing even at relatively low dosages and thus bring the customer a perfect effect for low cost.[/vc_column_text]

Do you test products on animals?

It si pohibited to text cosmetic products on animals. Our products were not tested on animals even before 2004, when the directive on animal testing in cosmetics entered into force in the EU.

Is your cosmetics certified?

All cosmetic products must undergo a demanding approval procedure before being placed on the market, which includes microbiological testing, dermatological test, stress test of the preservation system, assessment of suitability and correct choice of raw materials and their documentation, assessment of suitability of packaging and their materials and self-safety assessment with individual exposure calculation. raw materials, checking the accuracy of the text on the label, etc .. Our products are therefore no exception and have passed this testing.

Are the packaging of your cosmetics safe?

All packaging is selected not only with regard to aesthetics, but especially with regard to maximum protection of the product, including the possibility of easy resealing to avoid contamination of the product and especially the oxygen barrier properties so that oil components in the product do not suffer oxidation. The labeling of the product is very strictly controlled in several stages so that it complies with the Public Health Protection Act, the general requirements for the technical properties of the products and, above all, all specialized cosmetic regulations.
